Name: Adam Rykse

Family: My wife, Jamie, and I have been married for 6 years. We have 3 boys: Eli – 5, Calvin – 3, Miles – 1. I have two brothers: Zach – 31, Alex – 29.
College attended/graduated: Michigan State - 2012 / Valparaiso University – 2015.
Sports background: One of my proudest moments was winning a one-set playoff at 11 pm at AAU Nationals with my 13s. Winning that game got us into the gold bracket that year. Most humbling defeat would have to be the one year I was head coach at IU South Bend. We were having a great year and tied for first in the conference with another undefeated team. We went to their place and laid an egg, lost in 3. That was rough.
Hobbies: Cycling, computers, disc golf, 3D printing.
Favorite trip: Our honeymoon to London, Edinburgh and Dublin. My favorite place was Edinburgh, and I'd like to go back to Scotland someday and see more of the country.
How did you become associated with Triple Crown?: I started doing the AES schedule for the NIT back in 2019, the first year it moved to Kansas City.
What intrigues you the most about Triple Crown?: The people and the variety of working on and traveling to different events. The focus on family is important as well.
